Dood en leven van grote Amerikaanse steden

Jane Jacobs

One of the most influential books in the history of urban planning is The Death and Life of Great American Cities by the New York writer Jane Jacobs. The first Dutch translation of this famous book will be published in October, almost 50 years after the first edition in English.

About the author: Jane Jacobs (1916–2006) was a US-Canadian writer and urban activist. She is known above all for her pleas for mixed communities and for her actions against the construction of motorways running through residential districts.

This publication has been made possible through funding by the Stimuleringsfonds voor Architectuur.

Please note: This is the Dutch edition of this book.
