TECHNONATURE: projects for the environmental revolution. After postmodernism, the architectural world seems to have lost most part of its social and cultural purposes, in order to remain a victim of itself and its own routines. But the demands of new ecological values has set off a moral dash to sustainability, diminishing theoretical and practical differences between architecture, landscape and planning, creating a new and interdisciplinary way to do design. Techniques, technology and materials, together with the human mind, determine new characteristics for the environment, keeping a distance from the recent past and rediscovering nature, its cycles and its rules, in order to find new answers to current problems. This is not fashion; these are the first signs something is changing in the variegated world of building. This collection of 31 project designs demonstrates it.
